What is SHIELD?

SHIELD provides a 1 hour, full body workout, focused on training Endurance, Strength and/or Power. Classes such as Crossfit, Our WODs WorKout of the day and HIIT FIT classes burn more calories post workout than a traditional exercise. To top it off, our fitness coaches to lead the workout to prevent you from over or under training.

How early should I arrive for my first SHIELD class?

Spending 20 minutes or more getting fit gives you more strength, more energy, and more life. Spending time with people that care about your success makes a community. You just need to be a member.

I haven’t worked out in a long time? Can I still do the workout?

Of course. SHIELD is geared toward ALL levels of fitness and everyone is free and encouraged to go at their own pace. We recommend trying a free introductory workout, then discussing any thoughts or questions you may have regarding your fitness goals, with your coach.

What do I need for class?

Water and a towel. We have a water fountain and also have drinks for purchase if needed.

I have issues with (part of the body). Can I still do your workout?

Absolutely. Our coaches are trained to provide options for each exercise on the floor, in addition to offering a low-impact bike and rower alternative in place of a run for lower body injuries or orthopedic restrictions, we also provide alternative movements that correspond with the targeted workout, but keep you involved with our group workout plan.

I’m pregnant. Can I still do the workout?

Always check with your doctor first before choosing to engage in intense workouts. We care about our members and put safety first at all times. Engaging in fitness while pregnant can be beneficial to you and the baby and post child birth can assist with transforming your body into the you, you want to be.

How much does SHIELD cost?

Our rates and fees can be seen on our site, but your first workout is FREE. Check out our rates and the staff can discuss pricing when you redeem your free workout.

What equipment do you use at SHIELD?

Our workout room has a variety of equipment including bikes and rowers, bands, TRX suspension trainers, rings, barbells, dumbells, medicine balls, benches and more. As fitness changes we constantly add improvements and equipment to the gym to make fitness more enjoyable and effective.
